Minutes/Report: DATE: July 2, 2010 - Outreach Committee Meeting LOCATION: Cincinnati ATTENDEES: Mike Gibboney and Linda Hayes GUEST(S): MINUTES STATUS: Goal setting meeting Reviewed April's minutes and determined goals to approach new year. Set up a plan for meeting to meet the end of July and created an agenda. Determined pre-meeting tasks that needed to be completed before the meeting. Status of Goals 1)Create a contract (Event Agreement) for Host Schools for the HS Guidance Counselor’s Workshop: The contract has been created – Linda Hayes Send contract to the sites for the High School Guidance Counselor’s Workshop to sign – Mike Gibboney 2)Update locations and dates for HSGC Workshop and send them the contract with agreement of $500 expense limit to be turned in by July 30th. In process – Mike Gibboney 3) Make arrangements with OACAC Articulation sites to give out the HSGC Workshop Location List to include a tear-off sheet for guidance counselors to list their contact information to turn in at OASFAA booth. In process – Discuss at next meeting 4) Update PowerPoint presentations for OACAC Articulation (by August 1, 2010) and HSGC Workshop (by Mid-October) We will request the help of our committee meeting when we meet the end of July. Moralee has already volunteered to be part of the committee and hopefully will assist us with this goal. 5) Secure volunteers to present at HSGC Workshop, Articulation and requested presentations for “Are You Getting the Message”.
